NJ Transit joins the digital age …

Passengers who use the Pascack Valley Line can now use their phones to purchase and display train tickets.

NJ Transit started a mobile ticketing pilot program Thursday on the Pascack Valley Line, it announced in a news release.

Passengers can download the MyTix app for free on web-enabled iOS or Android phones. They can use the app to buy one-way tickets and monthly passes for the Pascack Valley Line and between New York Penn Station and the Meadowlands Rail Station for events.
